It's Yoga Puerto Rico has been providing Puerto Rico with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the lineage of Pattabhi Jois and Larry Schultz for 4 years.   As we transcend from our old selves into our new found identities and from one year into the next we know 2009 will provide the yoga community of Puerto Rico a safe haven to grow and create harmony within themselves and others.  We are proud to open the doors to our new space in early 2009 to provide everyone with much larger yoga room, changing room and showers for students and many new yoga classes and modalities to help you become stronger and more beautiful from the inside out.  We are ready to join you on your journey into a new way of life with It's Yoga being the center of your growth and achievements.   It's Yoga gives us the chance to bless ourselves and enrich our lives from every angle.  Clarity shows through our eyes as this practice transforms us all.  Take in and celebrate this life for every moment and every breath. David Kyle and Elizabeth Sallaberry teach yoga from the passion of their hearts.  Inspired by Larry Schultz and the It's Yoga system, they moved to Puerto Rico to share the love of this practice.  It's Yoga is based on the ancient system of Ashtanga yoga from the lineage of Krishnamacharya and his student Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.  Our system, through years of personal practice, has modified and strengthened this practice to make it more accessible and safer for beginners.  Our sequences are based on the 1st and 2nd series of classical Ashtanga yoga.  We offer variations that allows the student to progress in a comfortable manor keeping the students honest about their practice and ,most importantly, their breath.

We offer 6 different routines that gives the practitioner the ability to grow and isolate their practice in a clear and concise way.  David and Elizabeth encourage everyone to focus on their strengths and give time and patience to their weaknesses. This establishes a practice that is sure to be long and healthy.  It's Yoga has always had a goal to bring Ashtanga yoga to the masses.  For Elizabeth and David, this studio is only small part of the bigger picture that we all contribute to.

Day by day, under the freedom of the It’s Yoga routines, people are learning that they are "stronger than they think they are."  As we pass through our 4th year here in Puerto Rico we have been able to experience the amazing power of change and control this practice provides.  Hold on to your mats as we fly through the mystical world and inner realms of our minds and souls.  We are sure to show you something you have never seen before.
