welcome

AYPR is the home of Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, a style founded by David Kyle that honors the older Ashtanga Yoga lineages of Pattabhi Jois and Larry Schultz. For over 9 years, people have been experiencing the transformational power of this practice here in Puerto Rico since we opened our doors in 2005! For 2014 there will be a strong focus on students understanding the theaputic value of a daily practice to remove discomfort and pain from our bodies and lives. Through the physical and mental conditioning of the Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga you will be able to move your dreams forward and complete your goals. Join us for an experience in Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga that will leave you inspired and empowered to make the changes that will transform our world!

Puerto Rico is an amazing location to deepen your practice and sweat out all the toxins building up in your body and mind. The fresh island air fills your lungs with prana and strengthens the body. Most visit us for a week every year to keep their juices flowing! If you want to spend a month, then its good to know that our perfect weather is all year long!

So if you want to escape and feel like you have a little piece of heaven without having to fly around the world? Then come practice yoga with us in Puerto Rico! Wake up to the Ocean Park sunsets on the beach and walk a block over to the studio to deepen your quality life with the Progressive Ashtanga Yoga practice followed by a fresh coconut to replenish your body and soul. We live slow and practice hard in Puerto Rico, so please feel free to be our guest for your next training or vacation.

Thank you to my teacher who helped me open this studio with encouragement for us to live our dreams! Thank You Larry'ji' for the gift of living out our personal legends. No one can ever take away the knowledge you have given.

Many Blessings...
