About It's Yoga Puerto Rico

"The It's Yoga philosophy is to share the love of the practice." (Larry Schultz) We strive to create and provide a space for each individual practitioner to express and grow in their practice. We offer freedom inside your practice and focus our attention in aiding you on developing discipline and strength for your mind. From here, we believe each practitioner will develop at their individual pace in a safe and effective manner. We teach what we practice and say what we feel, grace, comfort, and love.

Health is freedom. By allowing ourselves to connect with how we feel, we learn how to control and hot to create. Through yoga, we create and control the level of health inside our body, mind and soul. Once your space is created and your intentions are focused, you will be able to cleanse and purify all blocks creating a blank slate from where you may begin fresh. Health is happiness and happiness is our goal.

For every different type of person, there is a different kind of yoga and for every desired effect, there is a sequence to create it. We are all given the gift of choice. It's our most powerful tool. The best student is the one that questions their teachers and requires proof through personal experience before they give their trust into a philosophy or idea. We must all become scientists of our own reality. By recognizing this power of choice we are only left with a smile in knowing that wherever we are, it's because we want to be there.

It's Yoga Puerto Rico has been providing Puerto Rico with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the lineage of Pattabhi Jois and Larry Schultz for over 6 years. Our goal for 2012 is support the growth of consciousness in family and community! We have now set up community classes where local teachers donate their time and 100% of the class payments to local charity and international organizations. We have seen so many people being transformed by this practice and going out into the world to spread their experiences that we want to make it our promise that It's Yoga will continue to provide the Caribbean yoga community of Puerto Rico a safe haven to grow and create harmony within themselves and others. The community of Puerto Rico is forming It's Yoga into the best yoga studio in the Caribbean for locals and travelers alike! So if you want to escape and feel like you have a little piece India without having to fly around the world then come to It's Yoga Puerto Rico! Wake up to the Ocean Park sunsets on the beach and walk a block over to the studio to deepen your life with the Ashtanga Yoga practice followed by a fresh coconut to replenish your body and soul. We live slow and practice hard at It's Yoga Puerto Rico, so please feel free to be our guests for your next training or vacation.

Our staff is ready to join you on this journey into a new way of life with It's Yoga being the center of your growth and achievements.
